Primary care is general health care. We offer all the traditional primary care services you expect from your family doctor.

Exams before surgery

Treatment of non-emergency illnesses and injuries, such as strep throat, the flu and minor injuries

Treatment of health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and anemia

Immunizations

Referrals to specialists or to one of our many affiliated hospitals throughout the Bay Area

Teens are always welcome at Planned Parenthood for confidential counseling, education and medical services. Check out our free drop-in teen clinics.

Our family planning services have always been available to Medi-Cal recipients. If you receive Medi-Cal, now you can choose Planned Parenthood as your primary care doctor as well. We would be glad to answer any questions about paperwork. If you have private insurance, you need to contact your provider to find out how to make Planned Parenthood your family doctor.
